To those who wait,
Admit it, whenever you follow a line for something, you couldn't wait in a line without tapping your toes and blowing out sighs that suffocated the entire bagel store with your own irked breath. But you couldn't do anything but to wait.
But not anymore.
Patience is a virtue. I concur. However, it doesn't apply to entirety of occurrence in every event in your life.
Hindi minamadali ang mga bagay-bagay, pero hindi mo rin dapat hinihintay na isubo nalang sa'yo ang mga oportunidad. Patience comes with great hardships, an ample of perseverance, and vast determination.
You hold onto the famous quotation: "Good things come to those who wait" which is completely wrong. I roll my eyes every time I hear those lines which people use as a defense to justify their laziness. Little did you know, that's not even the full quote.
The full quote is: Good things come to those who wait but only the things left by those who hustle.
Paano 'yan? Kung ikaw ay isa sa mga taong naghihintay nalang dahil sa paniniwala sa kasabihang iyon, kawawa ka dahil tira-tira nalang ng mga taong determinadong makuha ang gusto nila ang mapupunta sa'yo. Papayag ka ba na ganoon?
Folks, we're supposed to hustle with what we want. Don't settle on always anticipating and putting yourself on hold, thinking that it is the opportunities that will come after you.
So to those who wait,
Stop waiting, instead, chase your desires and inhabit your moments. Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
